According to DigiTimes, Kingmax will start shipping 2GB DDR2-533 SO-DIMMs sometime in January. Good news for those using ultraportables that only have one memory slot (assuming that they are DDR2-based). Between this, the LED backlights and the higher-capacity 1.8″ harddrives, next year should be even more impressive for the ultraportable market than this year.
