Micro-Star International (MSI) has announced one of the first AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core powered ultraportable notebooks, the MSI S271.
It has a Aluminum/Magnesium Alloy case, weighs around 4 pounds, with a 12.1-inch widescreen “Super Glare” display (i.e. it handles glare better than many other displays) as well as an internal dual-layer DVD Writer. It utilizes an ATI chipset, can handle up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, and has an ATI Radeon Xpress200 for the graphics chipset.
It starts at around $1500 USD and is available now.
