Review: Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 (NotebookReview.com)

Fujitsu LifeBook P7230NotebookReview.com has posted their review of the Fujitsu Lifebook P7230 earlier this week.

The LifeBook P7230 is one of the smaller ultraportable notebooks, with a 10.6-inch widescreen display, powered by an Intel Core Solo U1400 (Ultra Low Voltage). Even with it’s small display, it still retains an optical drive (DVD writer) and weighs in between about 2.5 – 3 pounds (depending on whether the modular bay is empty, has an optical drive, or has a spare battery).

The NotebookReview.com review mentioned that even though it’s a much slower CPU than other CPUs shipping in a lot of notebooks these days, it does just fine with typical business applications, and that Vista’s eye candy, including Aero, didn’t seem to slow things down. They got around 3.5 – 4 hours of battery life (using wireless with a fairly bright screen), and around 8 hours with the extra battery. Overall they were impressed saying “The real standout features of this notebook are the awesome screen, great looks, excellent build, superb port selection features for the size, great battery life and multi-bay optical drive being included in such a small package. “
