New: Averatec 2371

Information about the Averatec 2371 series has recently been released. Pricing and availability still seem up in the air, but Averatec has published quite a bit of information about this new ultraportable laptop.

It features a 12.1-inch widescreen display with a resolution of 1280×800, a Serial-ATA (SATA) hard drive, a dual-layer DVD writer, and up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. It’s powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-51 Dual-Core processor running at 1.6GHz, with a 1.6GHz Front Side Bus, a nVIDIA C51 MV North Bridge and and a nVIDIA MPC51 South Bridge. Graphics wise, it has an nVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 mobile chipset.

It comes loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium Ediiton.
