There are a couple of good articles that came out yesterday about Intel’s new Santa Rosa/Centrino Platform.
The first, from TG Daily, Intel fires up upgraded mobile Core 2 Duos, is more of a technical look (i.e. not a review), and does mention that the Santa Rosa Core 2 Duos are priced lower than the previous mobile Core 2 Duos.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to buy a new notebook, your wait may be drawing to a close. If you already have a decent laptop, however, we wouldn’t rush out to replace it anytime soon.
