Announced: Lenovo 3000 V200

Lenovo 3000 V200Lenovo has announced their Lenovo 3000 V200 series, which is their consumer-grade ultraportable laptop, an upgrade over the V100 series, adding Intel’s Santa Rosa platform.

It has a 12.1-inch widescreen display (1280×800 resolution) and uses Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 for its graphics chipset. It’s powered by either an Intel® Coreâ„¢ 2 Duo T7100 (1.80GHz, 2MB L2) or an Intel® Coreâ„¢ 2 Duo T7300 (2GHz, 4MB L2), and comes with up to 2GB of memory and a 160GB Serial ATA (SATA) drive. It has an integrated 8x dual-layer DVD writer as well as a web camera.

It starts at $1199 and will be available in June.
