Toshiba is launching the Portege M600 in Korea. The Portege M600 has a 13.3″ display, and is powered by Intel Core 2 Duos and Intel’s Santa Rosa (PM965) chipset with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 for graphics processing. It weighs just over 4.2 pounds.
It is more of a sequel to the Toshiba Portege M300 than it is to the Portege M400 (which is a Tablet PC/convertible laptop as opposed to the Portege M300 which is a traditional laptop). It’s fairly close to the Toshiba Satellite U300 and Toshiba Tecra M8 in regards to size/display.
It’s apparently already available in other parts of Asia; No word on when or if it will be launched in North America.
