LAPTOP Magazine has now published their review of the HP Compaq 2710p (a laptop/convertible that’s turning out to be very popular as far as interest among ultraportable owners and would-be owners).
They gave it three and a half out of five stars, saying it nearly beat out the Lenovo ThinkPad X60 Tablet for ultraportable convertibles (convertible = LCD display can rotate and convert into a Tablet PC form factor and then back to a laptop form factor) and that unlike many in its sub-five-pound class, it has power, a full digitizer, and excellent screen performance, just like the X60
Keep in mind this is one of the first ultraportables and convertibles in general that has an LED-backlit display.
