Review: Lenovo ThinkPad X300 (NotebookReview)

Andrew mentions that a higher price tag goes along with all of the benefits that the X300 comes with (lightweight, battery life, size, thinness, etc.). As such, he goes into detail over just why the X300 commands such a premium over other ultraportables (such as Apple’s MacBook Air).

They cover the carbon and glass-fiber “roll cage” mentioned on Lenovo’s design blog. They also show a size comparison with the Lenovo ThinkPad X61, Lenovo’s 12.1″ offering in the X-series, as well as the MacBook Air.

They also had several unique photos of the X300 and X61 on an airplane flight, showing how they fit on the fold-out trays in the seatbacks.
