Review: Toshiba Portege M700 (Trusted Reviews)

Toshiba Portege M700 Riyad Emeran over at Trusted Reviews has published their review of the Toshiba Portege M700.

The Portege M700 has a 12.1″ widescreen LED-backlit touchscreen display, and weighs in at around 4.5 pounds (just over 2kg, which TR points out is a big heavy these days). It’s a convertible – that is, it can function as a regular laptop/notebook, or the display can be swiveled around and then locked down, forming a Tablet PC. It features a regular mobile Intel Core 2 Duo CPU selection, a spill-resistant keyboard, a “shock absorber” for the hard drive, chassis, and display, and has a modular bay (additional options other than an optical drive can be installed, such as a second hard drive).

It does share some accessories with a predecessor, the Toshiba Portege M400.

Trusted Reviews rated it a 7 out of 10.
