HP TX2000 - Clean Install of Vista
May 14, 2008
Over on TabletPCReview.com, a guide on how to do a clean install of Microsoft Windows Vista on the 12.1-inch AMD-powered convertible HP Pavilion TX2000 / TX2000z has been posted.
The guide takes you through backing up/creating the necessary restore disks (needed to add in/restore preinstalled software), formatting and installing Vista, and then installing the various specialized drivers (pen/tablet, various buttons, etc.).
It covers both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, as well dealing with potential problems such as a calibration error concerning Adobe Photoshop CS3.
