More details about the upcoming 8.9-inch Asus Eee PC 901 are emerging.
DigiTimes reporting on pricing and availability as well as comparisons to the 8.9-inch Intel Celeron-powered Asus Eee PC 900 which is nearly identical hardware-wise.
In addition to the branding changes (dropping Asus from the model name and going with “Eee” as the brand) and the addition of the Intel Atom CPU, there will be an addition of a Bluetooth modules as well as a metal alloy added to the hinge, keyboard, and touchpad areas. There will also be other changes to differentiate it from the Eee PC 900.
DigiTimes is reporting that it’s set to launch on June 3rd, with a price under $650 USD.
