Interesting little comparison of the 11-inch Lenovo IdeaPad U110 versus the 13-inch Lenovo ThinkPad X300. For the time being, until the ThinkPad X200 comes along, these are the two “current” ultraportables currently sold by Lenovo to business users and consumers (although it depends on just how “current” you consider things – some still consider the ThinkPad X61 series to be current).
The IdeaPad and the ThinkPad really are for two different markets and Michelle Thatcher makes this observation:
The IdeaPad U110 is gorgeous, but is best used as a highly mobile complement to your deskop computer; the ThinkPad X300 may not be as eye-catching, but it has design elements that let it conceivably be your only computer.
