It looks like the 10″ Asus Eee PC 1000H is undergoing a price drop, at least in the US. The model in question is listed as EEEPC1000H-BK009X.
It’s now showing up online for $549.99 with 80GB Hard Drive, 1GB Memory, Windows XP, and the color of the case is “Fine Ebony/Black”.
We’ve already seen price drops among other Asus Eee PC, with the the Celeron-powered Eee PC 900 (albeit the price drops were in the form of $100 rebates).
Whether this is due to other Intel Atom-devices coming onto the market for a much cheaper price (such as the 8.9″ Acer Aspire One at Amazon – $395) or whether it’s due to slower than expected sales, it’s hard to say.
