Dell E / Inspiron Mini Specs – More Details

Dell Mini Inspiron Well, it sounds like the 8.9-inch Dell E (or Inspiron Mini) is getting closer and closer, if Zumo is correct. Backing up a few things said earlier this month, Zumo has quite a few details they claim to have gleaned from a visit to Dell.

Specifications:
– Name: Inspiron Mini (instead of Dell E)
– Model “KI004C” (?)
– Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
– Intel Graphics (945 Express/GMA 950)
– 1GB RAM
– 8.9″ 1240×600 (could it be 1024×600?)
– Linux or Windows XP w/SP3
– 8GB SSD Option
– 3x USB 2.0
– Atheros AR5007EG 802.11b/g
– Possibly Gigabit port
– 32 Wh battery
– Built-in Webcam
– Black, white, red colors
– Starts production next month (matches previous reports)
– F1 – F12 buttons moved/added to top row of numeric numbers
– Memory card reader
– Number of accessories to be produced for this product

Most of that is very believable, given what we’ve heard so far, and what we’ve seen in other devices. The price point of around $299 is still interesting (and not too far off from the Acer Aspire One). We’ll tag this info with a rumor label, but consider most of it to be very plausible.
