Over at Gizmodo, a “Lightning Review” from Dan Nosowitz of the new 12.1-inch Lenovo ThinkPad X200 has been posted.
The configuration tested runs almost $1800 USD (it starts at $1434)
Dan points out that it’s a lot thinner than it looks – 0.8″ at the thinnest part. He was also quite happy with the keyboard and battery life (both hallmarks of the ThinkPad X series).
There is one thing that he points that could be a deciding factor for some – it only has a Trackpoint and no touchpad / trackpad, but that’s a given with the X-Series (same with the lack of an internal optical drive – you can buy an ultrabase with an optical drive to attach to the bottom if you need it, but most people buy the X-series to get away from bulk). He also wasn’t too impressed with the display.
