Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet Review (LAPTOP Mag)

Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet LAPTOP Magazine has reviewed the new 12″ convertible Lenovo ThinkPad X200T Tablet, and were impressed enough to give it their “LAPTOP Magazine Editor’s Choice” award, with a 4 out of 5 stars.

They mention that it still sticks with traditional ThinkPad keyboard design: “The X200 Tablet sports a full-size, spill-resistant keyboard, which of course has the comfortable, tried-and-true ThinkPad design; the keys are very responsive and seem almost to leap back up to meet your fingers. As with the ThinkPad X200, Lenovo has eschewed its usual TrackPoint-and-touchpad combination in favor of only a TrackPoint to streamline the system.”

They also mention that left-handed users should enjoy the X200T – Unlike X61, the display can swivel all the way around, allowing for left-handed users to feel comfortable.

Using an eight-cell battery, their test model was able to get almost six hours of use (and this is not using an ultra low voltage (ULV) CPU – that option will be available later on).
