Hands-On with Sony VAIO VGN TT

Sony VAIO VGN-TT Jeffrey Wilson at the LAPTOP Magazine blog has posted a brief hands-on with the new 11.1″ Sony VAIO TT.

The TT series is one of the most unique ultraportables in its class – it’s certainly the lightest laptop to sport an actual Blu-Ray (BRD) drive and it even comes with an HDMI output for plugging into an HDTV should you desired to watch a Blu-Ray movie on a big screen.

Unfortunately, it’s also the most expensive in its class – the model LAPTOP Magazine is looking at has a $4,344 price tag. The price is high due to the fact that it’s also running dual 128GB Solid State Drives (SSD) in a RAID configuration (in addition to the BRD drive).

As you can tell from the video, it’s definitely a good looking ultraportable – it would be nice if Sony’s netbook has similar styling (but not similar pricing).

They’ll be posting a review in the next week or two.
