Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Price Drop – Starts at $249

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 It’s now official – Dell has dropped the starting price for the base model of the Intel Atom-powered 8.9″ Dell Inspiron Mini 9. It’s one of the few devices in its class to be fanless (and therefore quiet).

In the fall/autumn of 2008, the base models started out around $350 (with some options pushing it to $450). Earlier this year, the starting price dropped to $299. Now it’s down to $249, and in recent weeks, some buyers have picked up refurbished Inspiron Mini 9s for around $200, with some 8GB and 16GB SSD models going for down around $270 – $290 at the Dell Home & Home Office Outlet Store.
