Samsung X360 Review (LAPTOP Mag)

Samsung X360 We’ve not heard too much about the high-end 13.3″ Samsung X360, but this week LAPTOP Magazine has published a review of it. Along with the Samsung Q310 and some other models in the 12″ and 14″ range, the X360 marks Samsung’s entry into the US laptop market (and possibly Canada’s market as well).

The particular model reviewed, the X360-34P is the high-end model of the two X360 models available in the US (the other being the X360-34G.

Specifications:
– Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage SU9400 (1.4GHz)
– 3GB RAM
– 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD)

LAPTOP Magazine gives high marks to the keyboard, which is an “island-style” or “chiclet-style” keyboard. While it costs over $2,000 USD, the review mentioned the 128GB SSD was one of the fastest SSDs available – substantially faster than the category average. With everything else considered, they gave it the LAPTOP Magazine Editor’s Choice award.
