CNET Asia has a new “review” out of the recently announcedDell Inspiron 710M, however this is slightly misleading. The review covers the Dell Inspiron 700M (the 710M is not currently shipping, although it’s supposed to ship this month), however it applies to the 710M as well, since the only differences between the 700M and the 710M are different case colorings, slight CPU speed increases, and additional multimedia-oriented software.

NotebookReview.com has a good review of the Dell Inspiron 700m (covering the 700M after the refresh earlier this year). The 700M is Dell’s affordable ultraportable, and is actually very affordable when compared to other ultraportables in its class.
There is a new review of the Dell Inspiron 700M at PC Magazine, giving it a 3.5 out of 5. The 700M is one of the cheapest ultraportables on the market, yet it still has a 12.1-inch widescreen (1280×800) – something of a rarity among ultraportables of this price range (which are using non-widescreen). The review by Cisco Cheng reinforces the affordability, saying The 700m nicely balances price and portability.
