Announced: LG T1 Express Dual

DailyTech has news of a 14.1-inch notebook that should fall into the ultraportable category – the new LG T1 Express Dual. Yes, it has a 14.1-inch widescreen display (with a resolution of either 1280×800 or 1440×900), but get this – it’s 0.83 inches thick and only weighs 4.2 pounds, and yet still has an Intel Core Duo CPU (L2300 – 1.5GHz Low Power) and a dual-layer DVD writer!

Announced: LG Xnote TX

LG Electronics has announced their latest ultraportable notebook in Korea, the LG Xnote TX, powered by a Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) 1.30GHz CPU, with a 12.1-inch widescreen display, and weighing in at 1.1kg (just 2.5 pounds – yes, under 2.5 pounds). It has a 1.8-inch 60GB harddrive, external optical drive, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics

Announced: LG LW20 Express, TX1 Express

Some of the new models introduced include ultraportables (the LG LW20 Express and TX1 Express), and should be out in retail stores by the end of the month (the LW series is available now).
