Craig Pringle has posted a hands on review on his blog, of the Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet PC, one of the ultraportable “convertibles” – having both Tablet PC functionality as well as a physical keyboard. The M400 is one of the first ultraportablte notebooks to have Intel’s new CPU, the Core Duo. It has a 12.1″ display, normally XGA, but apparently there is a BTO option of a widescreen display.
Toshiba has recently updated the specifications for their new Tablet PC/Convertible Notebook, the M400. This is shaping up to be one of the hottest ultraportable Tablet PC convertibles around (having both a physical keyboard as well as Tablet PC functionality).
Combine the 4GB of memory, high resolution display, Firewire connection, SATA harddrive, and DVD burner, and you have an ultraportable video or photo editing machine.
Specifications concerning the Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet PC, which was announced last month, are being released, and MobileWhack

Jørgen Sundgot has published a review of the Toshiba libretto U100 for infoSync World. The U100 is powered by an Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Pentium M, with an incredibly small widescreen display – 7.2-inches, but with a high resolution – 1280×768, making it one of the smallest ultraportables around.
Barry Gerber has written an extensive review/comparison in MobilityGuru, Is Toshiba’s U100-S213 The Ultra Lightweight Laptop Champ?, that compares the Toshiba Libretto U100-S213, the Fujitsu LifeBook P1510D, the Dell Latitude X1, and the Sony VAIO VGN-TX670P. Keep in mind that the U100 has a 7.2-inch display and the P1510D has an 8.9-inch display.
