PC World – October/November 2005 – Selected as #1 in the ultraportable class in PC World’s Top 15 Laptops of November, 2005.

PC World – July 2005 – 4 out of 5 stars – The X41 stands out for its excellent keyboard (if you’re an eraserhead fan) and long battery life, but it requires an external optical drive.

HardwareCentral – June 2005 – an outstanding mini notebook that combines solid performance with a lot of nifty little conveniences. We’re just not sure the latter warrant Lenovo’s substantial price premium over similarly configured, if slightly heavier or less lavishly equipped, competitors’ products.

CNET Reviews – April, 2005 – 6.7/10.0 – The latest in a long line of ThinkPad X notebooks, the ThinkPad X41 delivers the best combination yet of performance, battery life, and features.
