HP has launched the Compaq Presario B1800 ultraportable series. The first model mentioned is the B1801TU, a 12″ widescreen based on a 2.0GHz Pentium M, which you can read about here (hp.com). ChannelTimes.com quotes the head of the Personal Systems Group, Ravi Swaminathan, as saying of the B1800 series: “We are increasingly seeing a demand for a mobile solution. The mobile professional today wants a notebook that can be carried without any hassles and yet does not compromise on performance.”
