PC Magazine has just published a review of the Panasonic Toughbook W4, one of Panasonic’s “semi-rugged” portable laptops, running on the Intel Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) CPUs (1.2GHz in this case), with a 12.1-inch XGA display. They gave it a 3.5 out of 5, citing it’s weight (just 2.8lbs), it’s sturdy casing (magnesium alloy), and the fact that for such a small/lightweight laptop, it’s got an integrated optical drive.
