Apple: Intel-based iBooks in January?

ThinkSecret.com is reporting that Apple may introduce Intel-based iBooks in January, including a third iBook in the iBook lineup. They mention that it may even be substantially cheaper than the 12.1″ iBook G4. The source behind these rumors is the same source from the Mac mini and iPod Photo leaks. It’s believed they will be based on Yonah, Intel’s Pentium M successor, but it’s not known whether they will be dual-core (available in January) or the single-core (available after the dual-core launch).

The Register is also covering this rumor/ThinkSecret.
