Announced: Lenovo X60 and X60s ThinkPads

Lenovo has released details and is taking orders for their new ultraportable ThinkPads, the ThinkPad X60 and ThinkPad X60s. These are replacements for the ThinkPad X41 and X40 series and use Intel’s new Core Duo processors (Dual-Core CPUs running at 1.66 – 1.83GHz) with a 12-inch display (which is, again, still non-widescreen).

They estimate that battery life could exceed 7+ hours (although that’s under the best conditions of course).

No word yet on a Core Duo version of the ThinkPad X41 Tablet.
