Fujitsu Siemens has annouced the LifeBook Q2010, a “truly aspirational product” according to FS. It’s one of the first announced ultraportables using Intel’s Centrino Core Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processors, and unfortunately the speed has yet to be announced. It has a 12-inch widescreen display, embedded 3G mobile phone network capability, Uses Express Cards for expansion, and weighs in at just over two pounds.

This is being touted as a limited edition, and at around $5000 USD/$4000 Euro, it’s going to have a very limited audience. Part of what makes it a limited edition, it has a “multilayered piano lacquer” finish. It’s due to ship sometime in the second quarter of 2006, and no word on availability outside of the UK/Europe.
