According to
CNET News.com, Dell is going to be upgrading the limited warranties on its Inspiron lineup (including the
Inspiron 710M) from 90 days to one year.
This could be a sign that manufactuers are going to start increasing the length of their warranties, which is a reversal from earlier trends of shortening them.
No word on if this is going to be retroactive for those customers who just recently purchased Inspirons.
