Dell to Produce Santa-Rosa XPS M1210, Lighter, Thinner?

Dell XPS M1210Gizmodo is reporting on an anonymous tip/rumor that Dell will be updating the XPS M1210 with Intel’s Santa Rosa platform towards the end of June.

The Dell XPS M1210 has been a popular portable line for Dell, with a 12.1-inch widescreen display, an internal optical drive, and a choice of graphics chipsets, either the standard Intel GMA, or an upgraded chipset from (something that appeals to people wanting a small laptop, with better graphics than most in this class).

Gizmodo mentions that it will have a NVIDIA 8400M DX10 graphics card, LED backlighting, and will be lighter and thinner than the previous M1210, with a slot-loading optical drive.
