10th Anniversary of Sony’s VAIO Laptops

Sony VAIO Logo It has been 10 years since Sony released their first laptops, the vaunted VAIO lineup that helped bring ultraportables into the public conscious.

Wikipedia has a nice writeup about the VAIO lineup, with some interesting information:
– Did you know what VAIO stood for? Video Audio Integrated Operation
– The VAIO logo also represents the integration of analog and digital technology. The ‘VA’ represents an analog wave and the ‘IO’ represents digital binary code.
