Engadget is reporting on details of the Dell Latitude XT.
The specifications they are reporting:
– Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) CPUs (probably U7500/U7600 series)
– LED-backlit and outdoor view WXGA display options
– Digitizer and Touchscreen (similar to Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet)
– 3x USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394/Firewire, Ethernet, VGA, ExpressCard
– Wireless up through 802.11n with optional Bluetooth
– Mobile broadband options (3G / HSDP / EV-DO)
– Optional SmartCard and fingerprint reader
The thing that jumped out at me is the LED-backlit display. I was not aware of those displays shipping in touchscreen form (heck, they are barely shipping in normal laptops).
