Review: ASUS W7S (NotebookReview.com)

Asus W7SNotebookReview.com has a user-submitted review up of the latest and greatest 13.3″ laptop from ASUS, the ASUS W7S.

The ASUS W7S is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duos (the fully-powered T7x000 series) running on Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, and it has a dedicated NVIDIA 8400M graphics chipset with dedicated 128MB of video memory. The W7S is one of the few 13.3″ and smaller laptops to have a DVD/CD writer with Light Scribe technology – the Light Scribe technology basically “writes” on the viewable surface of the DVD whatever you want to label that particular DVD – think built-in laser etching (for more on Light Scribe – see the Wikipedia entry).

The model reviewed is the black W7S-3P057 (doesn’t offer wireless 802.11n and comes with Vista Home Premium) with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz).
