Tablet PC Convertibles In The White House

Dell Latitude XT Some of you may have opened up your newspaper this morning to see the picture on the right (apparently from Reuters), of US President George Bush talking about the latest budget, and holding up a Tablet PC. It’s being considered the first “paperless” budget and a Tablet PC was being used to unveil it.

To be precise, President Bush is holding up a Dell Latitude XT.

The Direct2Dell blog has more information about it. When I first opened up my newspaper (yes, I still like to read the news in print, contrary to my mobile habits), I knew right away it was a Tablet PC, but didn’t realize it was a convertible, and Dell’s Latitude XT at that. One wonders how it ended up there…
