Seemingly out of nowhere (or perhaps it was just because people had started writing about Dell needing to roll out some Penryn-based laptops), Dell has started rolling out XPS M1330s with Intel Penryn CPUs in them.
It’s not available in the US or many other countries (expect it in a day or two or three), but in Australia you can choose it as a free upgrade to some M1330 models.
The free upgrade is an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300: 45nm, 35W TDP, 2.5GHz, 6MB L2 Cache with an 800MHz Front Side Bus (FSB).
