Review: Toshiba Portege M700 (Tablet PC Review)

Toshiba Portege M700 After publishing her first thoughts concerning the new Toshiba Portege M700, Tiffany Boggs has published a full review of the M700.

The reviewed unit has a 12.1″ LED-backlit widescreen display (which Tiffany considers to be one of the best screens I have seen on a tablet), powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz T7500 processor. Currently it’s starting at around $1449.

It was benchmarked/compared to other similar systems, including the HP Pavilion tx2000z, the HP Compaq 2710p, and the Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Tablet.

As she points out, the M700 is definitely built for the business market – it’s quite plain and simple compared to others in its class (not that is a bad thing, mind you – it’s durable and designed well).
