PC Perspective has published an unboxing and some brief thoughts on the ultraportable 11.1″ Asus U2E.
The Asus U2E is the sequel to the Asus U1 series and comes with either black or brown leather and copper accents and has a hand-polished steel frame (i.e. it’s a little higher-end than most laptops). It has an LED back-lit panel and is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) U7500.
I raise that issue (that of the styling) because the unboxing shows just how much different the U2E is from most laptops – it’s very nicely packaged, and the unboxing shows the leather case that comes with it.
