Announced: Toshiba Satellite U400 / U405

Toshiba Satellite U400 U405 Toshiba has officially announced the Toshiba Satellite U400 / U405 series, which is a replacement for the Toshiba Satellite U300 / U305 series. Back at the beginning of March, it was leaked by an Italian website.

This is a consumer-oriented low-cost ultraportable, with an MSRP starting at $949.99 (USD). It ships this week and retailers are taking orders – Amazon is showing the U405-S2820 at $899.99

– Windows Vista Home Premium
– Intel Core 2 Duo T500 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 Cache)
