I’m not sure if Asus is trying to clear out the 8.9-inch Asus Eee PC 900, or if they are doing this to differentiate the Intel Celeron-powered 900 from the Intel-Atom powered Eee PC 901, but Asus is now offering a $100 rebate on Eee PC 900 models (it looks like all of them that are available, but this may change).
The $100 rebate (US only as far as I know) is good through July 31, 2008, and is a mail-in rebate to Asus.
There are a couple of models listed at the bottom for $399 that are pre-order/notify only, and they don’t match up with known specifications.
