Lenovo IdeaPad S10 – Press Release, S9 News

Lenovo IdeaPad S10 There’s been some doubt about the official release / launch information concerning the 10″ Lenovo IdeaPad S10. I pointed out that the video seemed to have an interesting background.

CNET Asia initially reported that their contacts claimed that no official announcement was made.

They’ve seen updated it to say that it is in fact a real announcement.

They also mention a much higher starting price – $544 USD, with shipments arriving in September. As well, the 8.9-inch Lenovo IdeaPad S9 will be arriving as well, but it will be geared towards business customers and as such will be sold through B2B channels. The official Lenovo Press Release still states starting price of $399 with two models:

– $399 – 80GB HDD, 512MB RAM, Windows XP, 10″
– $449 – 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Windows XP, 10″
