Akihabara News got a hands-on look at the Intel Atom-powered 5.6-inch Fujitsu LifeBook U2010, akak the LOOX U/B50N (aka U820). They worked with the 60GB HDD version, rather than the 64GB Solid State Drive (SSD) version.
They mentioned that the 4-cell battery provides for 11.1 hours of use.
This is really interesting: “We asked Fujitsu when they’ll release a notebook like Asus’ EeePC or the MSI Wind. Apparently, a new notebook should be available next fall with an Intel Atom processor (probably the same as the LifeBook U2010), Windows XP, but without a SSD drive.“
Pocketables has pictures of a few different models, including some special edition models. They report a starting price of around $1125 USD.
