Lenovo IdeaPad S10 – Reviewed (LAPTOP Mag)

Lenovo IdeaPad S10 LAPTOP Magazine has posted their review of the 10.2″ Lenovo IdeaPad S10 netbook. They’ve also posted some unboxing information as well as a video.

It definitely has one of the better designs for an Intel-Atom based netbook, but they do point out that they didn’t receive their S10 through normal channels, so what you get in the box and the looks of certain things maybe slightly different.

In the unboxing article, they mention that Lenovo included OneKey Rescue software (pre-installed) – this allows you to create a recovery disc (assuming you have an external USB optical drive).

As far as the review – they mention that the touchpad has full multi-touch capabilities. They also mention that the heat, at least with the unit they tested, wasn’t as bad as reported earlier this month.

Now that they are shipping (at least the white S10s), we should start to see more show up in the wild.
