Samsung has posted drivers and the user guide for the Samsung NC10 netbook online (or NP-NC10 as it’s being referenced). They’ve also setup a US-specific part of their website for some of the laptops they are going to be introducing to the US market later this year (remember, they are just now formally entering the US market for laptops / notebooks).
Right now, the only model listed for US customers is the NC10-14GB (1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home, 6-cell battery)
Main US site: http://pages.samsung.com/us/notebooks/
Samsung’s NC10 drivers (includes user guide).
Among the downloads:
– NP-NC10 Recovery Solution III
– NP-NC10 Samsung Magic Doctor
– NP-NC10 Samsung Update Plus
– NP-NC10 Easy Display Manager
– NP-NC10 MagicKBD
The user guide is hefty – 121MB. It’s some kind of flash-based install application in a lot of different languages. It appears to show the UK version of the keyboard (or perhaps the Canadian / multi-lingual). I’m not sure why they went with something flash-based over the standard PDF.
Thanks to Tim L. for sending us this.
