Is there an HP Mini 1100? Yes and no. The models we previously mentioned do exist or will exist in some manner.
However, the Mini 1100 SKUs are not part of a separate line in the HP Mini Note series. They are, in fact, a part of HP Mini 1000 series.
There were quite a few emails between HP and CrunchGear that cleared things up, with HP responding: We don’t offer a model within the HP Mini 1000 series that has an Express Card slot. There was an error made on our website which is being corrected.
As such, if you want an ExpressCard slot in an HP netbook, you’ll have to go with the HP Mini 2140 Series.
