Michael J. Miller has written a review in his PC Magazine blog of the Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet PC. The M400 is one of the first Intel Core Duo-powered ultraportable “convertible” notebooks (having both Tablet PC functionality with a physical keyboard).
OnTheRun with Tablet PCs #17 features a discussion of the Toshiba M400 Tablet PC (that’s also an ultraportable convertible – having both a Tablet PC interface and a physical keyboard). The M400 has generated a lot of interested, as it’s one of the first small notebooks/tablets to utilize Intel’s new CPU, the Centrino/Core Duo.

This time, he took a look at battery life, saying at worst with the M400 you can expect 3 hours running time. Turning down the brightness and tweaking the power settings using the Toshiba Power Management tool I would expect that you could stretch this to over 4 (have not tried it).
