Summary:
Sequel to the Asus Eee PC 1201N (Seashell). Running an upgraded Intel Atom N550 dual-core CPU with NVIDIA’s Ion2 graphics. It features the ability to change between Ion 2 or Intel GMA 3150 for the graphics chipset (aka “Optimus”), depending on demand/power saving mode. This is really pushing the limits of what one considers to be a netbook, and is getting into high-performance ultraportable range with its 12.1″ display. It also comes with 500GB of ASUS WebStorage.
Small-Laptops.com would easily recommended it to many people who want something a little more than a typical netbook but who don’t want a full ultraportable. Performance wise, this is probably the best netbook available for under $700
