Last week, Acer announced the new Intel Core Duo-powered Acer TravelMate 3020. We were waiting for more information, but it looks like this is pretty much the same ultraportable notebook as the Acer TravelMate 3010/3012, with only a different case/covering (white-colored in the case of the 3020). It has a 12.1-inch widescreen display, a Serial ATA harddrive, up to 2GB of memory, and utilizes an external DVD writer.

IT Reviews has one of the first reviews of the Acer TravelMate 3010/3012 WTMi. The 3010 is Acer’s first Intel Core Duo/Centrino-powered ultraportable notebook. It has a 12.1-inch widescreen display (1280×800), however IT Reviews mentioned it’s not the best under daylight conditions.

TabletPCReviewSpot.com has a complete review from Barry J. Doyle, concerning the the Acer TravelMate C200. The C200 is a “convertible” laptop from Acer that uses a very unique “sliding-track” mechanism to convert from a notebook to a Tablet PC – it happens smoothly in one motion. Lots of good photos and benchmarks if you are considering one of the C200s (either the C203 or C204).
