Fujitsu is going to offer more colors in it’s LifeBook P7000/7120 series. The colors are Leather White, Mars Red, (both offered online) and a Deep Blue that will initially only be offered at Fry’s/Outpost.com. The P7120 is powered by a Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage 1.2GHz CPU and has a 10.6-inch widescreen display with an internal optical drive.
There have been off again, on again, rumors that Dell was going to buy Alienware. Looks like it turned out to be true, according to CNET
Since they are going to be operating seperately, I would assume then that this means Alienware’s Sentia ultraportable lineup remains intact for now, (the 12-inch Sentias are just one of several areas that Dell and Alienware overlap in).
PC World is reporting about Samsung showing off a 32GB flash-based harddrive at CeBIT this week. It’s double the size that Samsung showed off last year. The 32GB flash-based drive fits in the same space as a normal 1.8-inch notebook hardrive.
