PC Magazinehas just published a review of the Panasonic Toughbook W4, one of Panasonics “semi-rugged” portable laptops, running on the Intel Pentium M Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) CPUs (1.2GHz in this case), with a 12.1-inch XGA display.
Akihabara News is reporting that Panasonic is updating their R/T/W/Y4 series – only the harddrive and CPUs are being upgraded – nothing major. Most of these aren’t available in the USA either.
NewLaunches.com has word of new “Toughbook” laptops from Panasonic, including the CF-18, which sports a 10.4″ rotating display (yes, it’s a tablet – check the pics).
